Washington, D.C. – January 20, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Chad Magleby, president of Magleby Construction in Lindon, Utah, has been honored as the Custom Home Builder of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Custom Home Builders Committee. Sponsored by Sherwin-Williams™, the award was presented at a luncheon today in Las Vegas as part of the events taking place at the NAHB International Builders’ Show.
Magleby Construction is comprised of 10 separate divisions located in Utah and Idaho: Estate Homes, Millworks, Excavation, Remodel, Home Maintenance, Carpentry, Commercial Millwork, Administration, Communities and Sun Valley. Under Magleby’s leadership, the company has grown from $32 million over three years to an anticipated $58 million in 2015. The majority of the growth comes from three new divisions: Communities, Commercial Millwork and Sun Valley.
Magleby Construction builds some of the most complicated and difficult high-end luxury homes in the market. Through the pre-construction process, the company plays an integral role in architectural development of each project, and also works with strategic partners to create more concentrated high-end projects, such as The Residences at Stein Erickson. This community includes 15 high-end custom homes, all built by Magleby Construction, with seven homes currently under construction.
Magleby and his employees are active members of their local and state home builders associations and NAHB, boasting three former local presidents, two NAHB national life directors and the current Utah state director. Magleby is also a frequent guest speaker at the NAHB International Builders’ Show and other local events.
