Turner Selected to Construct $72 Million Soccer Stadium for ReAL Salt Lake in Sandy, Utah

New York, NY – July 10, 2007 – Turner Construction Company, in joint venture with Layton Construction of Sandy, Utah, has been selected to provide preconstruction and general contracting services for the ReAL Salt Lake Soccer Stadium in Sandy, Utah.

The stadium will be the future home for ReAL Salt Lake, a Major League Soccer (MLS) team. The 20,000-seat venue will also host concerts and other events in addition to MLS soccer matches. Construction is scheduled for the fall of 2008.

“We are proud to have been selected to construct the future home of ReAL Salt Lake and provide a new entertainment venue for the residents of Salt Lake County and the surrounding communities,” said Dale Koger, Vice President and General Manager of Turner’s Sports Group.

Turner is one of the nation’s leading builders of sports and entertainment projects having completed more than $500 million in this market segment during 2006, including the recently completed $55 million Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, home of MLS’s Colorado Rapids.
