Pamela Atkinson Homeless Trust Fund Launches “Text TO Donate” Campaign

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – March 17, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — For more than 20 years, the Pamela Atkinson Homeless Trust Fund tax campaign has encouraged the citizens of Utah to pledge a donation on their tax return to the fund.

This year, Utahns can simply text to donate. By texting 4HOME to 20222 and answering yes, a $5 donation is made through their wireless cell phone provider and is billed on your statement.

We were excited to see the “Gateway to Antelope Island,” Syracuse City in Davis County support our cause by posting donation information on their website.

Contributions benefit the Pamela Atkinson Homeless Trust Fund, which provides funding for agencies across the state who work with families and individuals experiencing homelessness. The services and assistance the Pamela Atkinson fund enables are an integral part of ending homelessness in our state.

Whether Utah residents give directly to the fund through their Utah state tax return or take advantage of the text to donate technology, we are proud of the services funded by the Pamela Atkinson Homeless Trust Fund and thank you for your donation.

The Pamela Atkinson Homeless Trust Fund is managed by the State of Utah Community Services office of the Division of Housing and Community Development under the Utah Department of Community and Culture.
